About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support and uphold the Mission, Vision, and Values of WarHorse Gaming, LLC
- Assist with installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and system software
- Monitor system performance and report anomalies to senior engineering staff
- Support troubleshooting of hardware and software issues under guidance
- Participate in system testing, validation, and quality assurance processes
- Collaborate with IT teams to resolve user-reported technical issues
- Maintain accurate inventory of hardware and software assets
- Assist in troubleshooting infrastructure issues and escalate complex problems as needed
- Contribute to technical documentation, including runbooks, procedures, and diagrams
- Assist with scripting (PowerShell, Python) to automate tasks and improve efficiency
- Support storage systems and virtual machine (VM) environments under supervision
- Maintain system configuration and service documentation
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Requirements
What you’ll need- Familiarity with SQL databases, VMware, and Microsoft Windows Server
- Understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, NTFS permissions, and certificate management
- Exposure to high availability (HA) and fault tolerance (FT) concepts
- Basic knowledge of enterprise storage and backup solutions
- Experience with PowerShell, Batch, or similar scripting tools
- Understanding of Windows patching processes
- Awareness of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Familiarity with storage technologies (NFS, fiber-channel, object storage)

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or MCSE
- Minimum of 3 years of systems engineering experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
