Engineering Planner
WarburtonsEngineering Planner joining established engineering team to maximize plant reliability and performance. Managing preventative maintenance and collaborating with reliability managers for effective maintenance support.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Working as part of an established engineering team
- Maximise plant reliability and performance to ensure our high standards of quality are achieved
- Manage the preventative maintenance system
- Ensure overall equipment efficiency reducing downtime and damage
- Plan and schedule all maintenance activity including backlog, spares and materials
- Work collaboratively with Reliability Managers, the Stores Coordinator and Engineering site leads
- Support plant criticality reviews
- Review maintenance plans
- Establish critical spares
- Be the key user for the site SAP PM maintenance system and reporting
Requirements
What you’ll need- Engineering Planner or Experienced Engineering Administrator
- Experience of Contractor management
- Working knowledge of a CMMS for example SAP
- Organising Planned maintenance and shut downs for Maintenance
- IT knowledge – able to use widespread functions within relevant software inc. Microsoft Office
- Analysing and problem-solving skills – anticipates problems before they occur, takes steps to deal with them/correctly & swiftly identifies the underlying problem & appropriate solutions, based on analysis of data.
- H&S knowledge e.g. IOSH – able to ensure a safe working environment.
- Communication skills – articulate/develops effective, long-term relationships with key people.
