About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and targeted account prospecting.
  • Identify and engage DTC and B2B brands in need of compliant fulfillment and logistics solutions.
  • Develop and maintain a qualified pipeline of prospective customers within regulated product industries.
  • Generate leads by identifying customer needs, operational requirements, and decision-making processes.
  • Conduct initial discovery conversations and coordinate handoff of qualified opportunities to senior sales team members for advanced sales discussions and closing activities.
  • Support account-based sales initiatives targeting strategic customers and high-growth markets.
  • Maintain consistent communication with prospects throughout the early sales cycle.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Operations teams to support onboarding readiness and ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, prospect activity tracking, and sales reporting.
  • Maintain awareness of state-by-state regulations related to hemp, nicotine products, and other regulated goods.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and virtual conferences as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales development, inside sales, lead generation, or a related role.
  • Proven experience with outbound prospecting and pipeline generation.
  • Strong cold calling, email outreach, and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of DTC and B2B fulfillment, including pick/pack, shipping, and inventory workflows.
  • Exposure to regulated goods (nicotine, hemp, alcohol beverage, pharma, or similar) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with compliance considerations across state lines, or the ability to quickly learn regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to effectively explain moderately complex concepts to prospective customers.
  • Organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage pipeline and sales activities independently.
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
