Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; OR 8 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
  • Extensive experience designing and delivering scalable, cloud-native software systems with AI integration
  • Ability to lead system-level technical execution and ensure architectural integrity and operational excellence
  • Strong expertise in software development lifecycle, DevOps, CI/CD, and resilient, observable services
  • Experience mentoring engineers and fostering continuous learning and innovation
  • Proficiency in problem solving, debugging, and technical decision-making aligned with business goals
  • Effective collaboration and communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Commitment to high standards in software security, reliability engineering, and platform design
  • Preferred: Master's degree and 4 years' experience in software engineering or related area
  • Preferred knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices
  • Must comply with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
