About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Complete a fast-paced 10-week internship
Work on challenging, innovative, and strategically relevant projects that drive the business forward and create customer value
Participate in regular activities for Commercial Finance, Controllership, or Audit teams
Support areas including Strategy, Operations, Merchandising, Treasury, Controller’s Office, Audit, Supply Chain, Marketing, Real Estate, and FP&A
Gain broad finance and/or accounting experience through on-the-job work
Take ownership of a project in a dynamic team environment
Present to executive leadership
Participate in case study workshops and competitions
Participate in the Walmart Annual Shareholders’ Meeting and other company events
Engage with Walmart associates and interns through volunteering, tours, community events, and the annual intern softball game

Requirements

What you’ll need

Students pursuing a BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Business, Strategy, or other business-related fields will be considered
3.0 GPA or higher preferred
Graduating in December 2027 or May 2028
Internship placement based in Bentonville
Will not require sponsorship from Walmart for authorization to work now or in the future
