About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead user experience strategy through user interviews, surveys, and site visits
- Gather insights and identify enhancement opportunities
- Develop user journey maps, storyboards, and interaction designs
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align UX solutions with business goals and customer needs
- Design and prototype scalable UI/UX systems consistent with design principles and native platform guidelines
- Plan and execute usability testing
- Analyze usability testing results and iterate designs to optimize user satisfaction and performance
- Mentor and guide team members
- Foster continuous learning and adherence to UX best practices
- Develop seamless end-to-end experiences and intuitive tools for Walmart Marketplace third-party sellers, from onboarding through fulfillment and performance insights
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 5 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area; OR 7 years’ experience in those areas
- Extensive expertise in user experience strategies, including user interviews, journey mapping, and contextual inquiries
- Ability to conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative research
- Strong skills in prototyping, usability testing, and scalable UI/UX design systems
- Knowledge of native mobile conventions
- Experience managing cross-functional partnerships and stakeholder engagement
- Exceptional communication skills
- Commitment to customer-centric solutions, process optimization, and data-informed decision-making
