About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead development and enhancement of user experience strategies
- Conduct user research, including interviews, surveys, and contextual inquiries
- Analyze data and emerging consumption trends to identify experience gaps
- Develop and refine interaction designs and user journeys
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align UX solutions with business goals
- Communicate design rationale effectively
- Create prototypes and detailed design specifications following user-centered principles and platform guidelines
- Lead usability testing, analyze feedback, and iterate designs
- Manage partnerships to integrate UX insights into product development
- Drive continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and business value
- Deliver consistent, scalable design solutions for digital products
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 3 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area; OR 5 years’ experience in those areas
- Experience designing user experiences that bridge physical environments and digital products, such as self-service kiosks, self-checkouts, registers, or food-ordering kiosks
- At least 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer, preferably in retail
- Strong understanding of building design systems
- Ability to work through ambiguous problems for different user types in the same environment
- Expertise in user experience design, user research, prototyping, and interaction design
- Experience designing for in-store associates and customers
- Ability to conduct user discovery through interviews, surveys, and journey mapping
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships and building consensus
- Proficiency analyzing qualitative and quantitative data
- Skills in usability testing, iteration, and user-centered design principles
- Ability to develop detailed design specifications, wireframes, and prototypes
