About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate and oversee inventory management activities aligned with business goals and customer needs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to support inventory plans and initiatives
  • Manage inventory profit and loss, including analysis, forecasting, and budget monitoring
  • Supervise and develop associates through hiring, training, mentoring, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards
  • Lead continuous improvement efforts and promote adaptability and learning
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to resolve issues and optimize inventory operations
  • Analyze inventory distribution data to ensure products are available at the right locations, quantities, and times
  • Optimize returns processes, recalls, and supplier agreements
  • Deliver data-driven insights and operational excellence to senior leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field and 1 year’s experience in inventory management, accounting, or related area OR 3 years’ experience in inventory management, accounting, or related area
  • Proven expertise in inventory management
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated leadership experience supervising, mentoring, and developing team members
  • Ability to manage profit and loss (P&L), forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Commitment to company policies, ethics, compliance, accountability, and operational excellence
  • Experience managing returns, recalls, and supplier relationships
  • Experience using Microsoft Database applications is preferred
