Key responsibilities & impact

Own the design and development of scalable software solutions
Collaborate with product management, user experience, project, and business teams on high-level designs and project discovery
Analyze and troubleshoot production and business issues
Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable resolutions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; OR 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
Proven experience in software design, development, and delivery within Agile environments
Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and Java, JavaScript, Python, or C#
Expertise in debugging, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting complex technical issues
Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation scripting
Knowledge of API design, platform development, and component services
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Familiarity with telemetry implementation and software performance monitoring
Must satisfy Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
