About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own national supplier accounts shipping freight with Walmart Fleet
- Manage data analytics, metrics, and transportation levels of service
- Build partnerships with Walmart vendor accounts and stakeholders
- Manage issues between transportation and suppliers to deliver strong levels of service
- Implement and improve supply chain and replenishment processes with cross-functional teams
- Research and analyze root causes of shipping, receiving, inventory, return, and other exceptions
- Analyze stakeholder data to improve network efficiency and support supplier compliance
- Provide actionable insights for cost reduction and service-level improvements
- Guide field operations by communicating expectations and resolving escalated supplier and transporter issues
- Monitor progress and implement effective business solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area
- Proven expertise in supply chain management and analysis
- Process improvement and root cause analysis experience
- Experience influencing cross-functional teams to implement sustainable supply chain solutions
- Supplier performance and transportation management skills
- Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights
- Ability to support cost reduction and service-level improvements
- Capability to build stakeholder partnerships and communicate operational expectations effectively
- Commitment to continuous improvement, adaptability, integrity, and ethics
- Preferred: Microsoft Office, Retail Operations, Transportation
- Preferred: Master’s in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain
