About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of land development projects for new store and club locations
Oversee site due diligence, capital approval, permitting, construction, and grand opening
Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets aligned with business objectives and market timelines
Lead entitlement and permitting strategies with architects, engineers, and regulatory authorities
Manage external partners and negotiate development agreements and contracts with legal and real estate teams
Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership using data-driven analysis
Mentor project management staff
Implement process improvements to enhance development efficiency and governance
Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, architecture, real estate development, land development, or related area, or equivalent practical experience
5 years’ experience in commercial real estate development, land development, or large-scale capital project management
Experience managing end-to-end development projects, including due diligence, entitlements, permitting, construction oversight, and stakeholder coordination
Experience managing multi-year development timelines with significant capital investment
Extensive experience managing full lifecycle real estate development projects
Strong expertise in entitlement strategies, zoning, land use, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions
Skilled in leading cross-functional teams and external partners such as architects, engineers, contractors, and legal counsel
Demonstrated leadership in mentoring project management staff and driving process improvements
Excellent communication skills with the ability to present data-driven insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
