About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Orchestrate large-scale innovation programs.
- Drive vision and adoption of an innovation platform covering idea discovery, hackathon orchestration, innovation maturity assessment, and leadership dashboards.
- Co-own the innovation charter and drive accountability for outcomes through structured governance frameworks.
- Contribute to thought leadership, thematic research, innovation playbooks, and enterprise-wide capability building.
- Establish metrics frameworks across innovation programs and enable data-backed leadership decision-making.
- Build scalable systems and playbooks for operating across multiple programs.
- Identify startup use cases aligned with enterprise priorities and cultivate startup ecosystem relationships.
- Drive structured evaluation and business case development, converting successful pilots into strategic partnerships with measurable ROI.
- Facilitate technology foresight workshops on emerging themes.
- Engage venture capital firms and industry bodies through curated ecosystem connections.
- Co-author thought leadership reports and playbooks and translate market signals into strategic recommendations.
- Build relationships across Engineering and Business leadership, Pillar heads, and enabling functions.
- Influence stakeholders to drive alignment, adoption, and sustained commitment to the innovation agenda.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 2 years' experience in project management, compliance, operations management, or related area, OR 4 years' experience in those areas.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field with 7+ years of experience in program management, innovation management, management consulting, or technology strategy.
- MBA with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Ability to operate at the intersection of strategy and execution and manage complex multi-stakeholder programs in a large enterprise or consulting environment.
- Track record of driving measurable business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of startup ecosystems, venture capital dynamics, and emerging technology landscapes.
- Ability to evaluate opportunities for strategic fit and translate them into actionable business cases and leadership recommendations.
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
- Ability to influence senior leadership through executive-ready presentations, thought leadership content, and data-driven narratives.
- Ability to build trusted relationships and drive alignment across Engineering, Business, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Communications.
- Ability to drive change management and cultural shifts within large organizations.
- Experience managing external consulting partnerships with accountability for governance, deliverables, and value delivery.
- Exposure to stage-gate innovation, design thinking, lean startup, or portfolio-driven innovation models.
- Preferred: MBA from a reputed institution.
- Preferred: Experience with Global Capability Centers, corporate innovation labs, or corporate venture functions.
- Preferred: Familiarity with AI/ML technologies and emerging tech trends.
- Preferred: Track record of thought leadership contributions or large-scale innovation event management.
- Preferred: Prior experience combining strategic advisory with hands-on program delivery.
