About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own execution of store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects across the US
- Deliver assigned projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members
- Handle escalations and collaborate with store leadership to keep projects on track
- Motivate teams to meet project timelines and deliverables
- Encourage collaboration and teamwork among associates
- Resolve store leadership, supplier, and associate concerns
- Communicate plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders
- Understand project plans and minimize impacts on store operations
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for team members
- Listen and act on associates’ ideas, suggestions, questions, and concerns
- Evaluate talent, train, mentor, recognize, and identify career paths for associates
- Hire and train associates, assign duties, and ensure diversity awareness
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, mission, values, ethics, and integrity standards
- Build stakeholder relationships, identify business needs, implement processes, monitor progress and results, and capitalize on improvement opportunities
- Adapt to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field and 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or a related area; OR 3 years of such experience without the degree
- Reliable transportation
- Frequent travel up to 1000 miles from home
- Availability to be away from home 80% of the time or 17–21 days at a time
- Ability to work primarily overnight shifts averaging 10–12 hours
- Knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or store design
- Experience leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross-functional teams
- Ability to attend and successfully complete required job trainings and assessments
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Business or related field
- Preferred: 1 year of experience leading cross-functional teams
- Preferred: Project Management - Management Professional Certification
