Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver platform capabilities including infrastructure, tooling, and ML frameworks aligned with roadmap milestones and domain priorities
Drive full software development lifecycle activities including coding, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance
Apply cloud-native architecture principles to build scalable, resilient, and agile systems
Conduct system design reviews to validate feasibility, quality, and architectural alignment
Build AI-driven applications and integrate ML components using multiple programming languages
Mentor engineers and influence technical decisions

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of professional software engineering experience
Extensive backend Java development experience
Experience with Spring Boot
Experience with Azure Cloud
Experience with NoSQL or SQL databases
Expertise in cloud-native architecture, including microservices, containers, and automation
Strong proficiency in software design patterns, API design, and platform development
Experience leading full software development lifecycle activities, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and observability
Ability to conduct system design reviews aligned with architectural best practices and project goals
Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical decisions
Data-driven problem-solving skills, including defining metrics and optimizing development processes
Adaptability to evolving technologies and collaboration across cross-functional teams
Retail and/or marketplace experience strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area; alternatively, 6 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
