About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects across the US
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Own project execution in assigned stores
  • Communicate plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders
  • Understand project plans and minimize impacts on store operations
  • Partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members
  • Handle escalations and resolve concerns involving store leadership, suppliers, and associates
  • Motivate teams to meet project timelines and deliverables
  • Encourage collaboration and teamwork
  • Provide supervision, training, mentoring, recognition, and career development for associates
  • Evaluate talent and identify career paths
  • Hire and train associates, assign duties, and ensure diversity awareness
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, mission, values, ethics, and integrity standards
  • Build stakeholder relationships and partnerships
  • Identify business needs, implement processes and practices, monitor progress and results, and capitalize on improvement opportunities
  • Adapt to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities
  • Work primarily overnight shifts averaging 10 to 12 hours
  • Travel frequently, up to 1000 miles from home, and support projects in surrounding states or farther

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field and 1 year's experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area OR 3 years' experience in those areas
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or store design
  • Experience leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross-functional teams
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work primarily overnight shifts averaging 10 to 12 hours
  • Ability to travel frequently, up to 1000 miles from home
  • Expected availability to be away from home 80% of the time or for 17–21 days at a time
  • Required attendance and successful completion of job-required trainings and assessments
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Business or related field
  • Preferred: 1 year's experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Preferred: Project Management - Management Professional Certification
