About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead advanced analytics projects across business areas and align them with organizational priorities and industry knowledge
Lead the DC Flow Optimization team within the Inbound Flow Organization
Determine optimal ordering channels and economic order quantities
Optimize the supply chain network and ensure efficient network flow while considering facility space
Develop and implement data models and production-ready algorithms
Direct testing, validation, and presentation of analytical solutions
Partner with senior leadership and external vendors to define data analysis strategies and deliver consultative solutions
Coach and mentor analytics associates
Analyze business objectives, forecast resource needs, and identify operational improvement opportunities
Drive data-informed decision-making, continuous improvement, and strategic execution

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field and 5 years' experience in data analytics or related field, OR 7 years' experience in data analytics or related field
4 years' supervisory experience OR experience leading cross-functional teams
Extensive experience leading advanced analytics projects
Strong expertise in data modeling and algorithm development
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
Leadership experience coaching, mentoring, and developing analytics teams
Strong project management skills
Track record delivering production-ready analytical solutions that drive business outcomes
Strategic experience integrating customer insights and business priorities into decision-making and innovation
Ability to work in a drug-free workplace and comply with Walmart's no-tolerance policy regarding illegal drugs and alcohol on the job
