About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and oversee global payroll administration across multiple regions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Manage payroll tax calculation, reporting, and complex tax issue resolution
- Develop and implement master data management strategies
- Maintain data integrity and security
- Analyze workflows and resolve escalated issues
- Ensure adherence to service standards
- Champion process automation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
- Coach and mentor team members on payroll policies, data management, and regulations
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align payroll strategies with business objectives and compliance requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, information technology, or related area and 3 years' experience in a related area; or 5 years’ experience in a related area
- Extensive experience in payroll administration and complex payroll systems
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Strong knowledge of payroll tax processes, wage calculations, and tax reporting
- Expertise in data integration, data architecture, privacy, and security standards
- Ability to lead operational excellence initiatives and resolve escalated issues
- Experience with Six Sigma or Kaizen continuous improvement methodologies
- Leadership and coaching capabilities
- Advanced functionality of Microsoft Office is preferred
