About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and oversee global payroll administration across multiple regions
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Manage payroll tax calculation, reporting, and complex tax issue resolution
Develop and implement master data management strategies
Maintain data integrity and security
Analyze workflows and resolve escalated issues
Ensure adherence to service standards
Champion process automation, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
Coach and mentor team members on payroll policies, data management, and regulations
Collaborate cross-functionally to align payroll strategies with business objectives and compliance requirements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, information technology, or related area and 3 years' experience in a related area; or 5 years’ experience in a related area
Extensive experience in payroll administration and complex payroll systems
Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Strong knowledge of payroll tax processes, wage calculations, and tax reporting
Expertise in data integration, data architecture, privacy, and security standards
Ability to lead operational excellence initiatives and resolve escalated issues
Experience with Six Sigma or Kaizen continuous improvement methodologies
Leadership and coaching capabilities
Advanced functionality of Microsoft Office is preferred
