About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive category-specific growth through differentiated, customer-first experiences that improve discoverability, relevance, and trust
- Elevate end-to-end discovery across search, browse, and personalization
- Embed trust and quality signals throughout the customer experience
- Leverage AI and data-driven insights for inspiration-led discovery at scale
- Define product vision and translate business objectives into scalable, enterprise-ready solutions
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, and Business teams
- Build a collaborative, high-ownership environment focused on complex problems and measurable results
- Define and champion product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Search
- Lead ambiguous discovery initiatives using customer research, competitive insights, and query-level analytics
- Drive alignment across a highly matrixed organization
- Partner with machine learning and engineering teams to ship scalable search or recommendation systems
- Design A/B tests, interpret results, and apply insights to product improvements
- Synthesize complex analysis into recommendations and influence senior leadership with data-backed strategy
Requirements
What you’ll need- Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related area and 7 years’ experience in product management
- Option 2: 9 years’ experience in product management or related area
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in Search, Relevance, Personalization, or large-scale consumer platforms
- Strong technical acumen with familiarity in search systems, ranking models, experimentation frameworks, and machine learning concepts
- Proven ability to use data and experimentation to drive product decisions
- Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders in highly matrixed organizations
- Experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Experience partnering with machine learning and engineering teams on scalable search or recommendation systems
- Experience designing A/B tests, interpreting results, and translating insights into product improvements
- MBA, consulting background, or technical degree preferred
- Preferred: Master’s degree and 6 years’ experience as a product manager
- Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA standards, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility best practices is valued
