About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Deliver store and club remodels, new stores and clubs, and special projects across the US
  • Own execution of projects in assigned stores
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards
  • Partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members
  • Handle escalations and resolve concerns involving store leadership, suppliers, and associates
  • Communicate project plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders
  • Understand project plans and minimize impact on store operations
  • Motivate teams to meet project timelines and deliverables
  • Provide supervision, development, training, mentoring, recognition, and career-path support for associates
  • Evaluate talent, assign duties, and support hiring and training
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, mission, values, ethics, and integrity standards
  • Build stakeholder relationships and implement business solutions
  • Monitor progress and results, identify improvement opportunities, and adapt to changing demands
  • Travel frequently to project locations, potentially up to 1,000 miles from home

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field and 1 year's experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or a related area, OR 3 years' experience in those areas
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments
  • Demonstrated knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or store design
  • Experience leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work primarily overnight shifts averaging 10 to 12 hours
  • Ability to travel frequently, up to 1,000 miles from home
  • Ability to be away from home 80% of the time or for 17–21 days at a time
  • Preferred: Master's degree in Business or a related field
  • Preferred: 1 year's experience leading cross-functional teams
  • Preferred: Project Management - Management Professional Certification
