Key responsibilities & impact

Lead safety and compliance programs across seven Regional Training Centers supporting driver onboarding, assessment, training, and development
Provide leadership and accountability for Area Safety Managers
Ensure consistent DOT/FMCSA compliance, including Hours of Service, Driver Qualification requirements, ELD governance, and safety standards
Monitor safety and performance trends, identify risks, implement corrective actions, and support audit readiness
Drive process standardization, safety training, remedial coaching, and continuous improvement initiatives
Analyze compliance and driver performance data
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders
Serve as a subject matter expert on fleet safety, regulatory compliance, and transportation best practices

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field and 4 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in compliance, ethics, legal, project management, or related area
2 years’ supervisory experience
3 years’ experience using intermediate functionality of Microsoft Office
Demonstrated leadership experience in transportation safety, fleet compliance, or DOT regulatory operations
Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations, including Hours of Service, Driver Qualification requirements, Drug and Alcohol compliance, ELD governance, and CSA performance management
Experience leading multi-site safety programs, supporting audits and investigations, and driving corrective actions
Proven ability to influence leaders, strengthen accountability, and manage risk in fast-paced environments
Strong analytical, communication, and coaching skills
Experience in transportation, logistics, or private fleet operations and relevant certifications are preferred
Master's in Business Administration, Project Management Professional certification are preferred qualifications
