About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide strategic guidance on market trends and regulatory compliance impacting total rewards
- Lead the development and execution of comprehensive total rewards strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Oversee compensation, benefits, and incentive programs to attract and retain top talent
- Partner with senior leadership to design competitive and equitable reward solutions
- Manage cross-functional projects to implement total rewards initiatives effectively
- Drive organizational change management related to compensation and benefits programs
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent communication and alignment of total rewards offerings
- Support Walmart U.S. Merchandising, Marketing, and Decision Sciences organizations
- Oversee project management and organizational change efforts related to total rewards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, or related field and 3 years’ experience in human resources, compensation, finance, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in human resources, compensation, finance, or related area
- Proven expertise in strategic leadership and compensation strategy development
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead complex initiatives
- Experience in organizational change management
- Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships across functions
- Proficiency in solution design for innovative total rewards programs
- Demonstrated collaboration skills within cross-functional teams
- Preferred: Certified Compensation Professional
- Preferred: Human Resources certification
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- Preferred: Supervisory experience in international business, human resources, or relevant area
- Must comply with Walmart’s drug-free workplace policy and no-tolerance policy regarding illegal drugs and alcohol on the job
