Key responsibilities & impact

Analyze complex transportation datasets and develop visualizations to deliver insights for strategic decisions and improved business performance
Build credibility through lateral and upward influence across teams
Partner cross-functionally to drive alignment, process optimization, and data-driven decisions
Translate strategic priorities into actionable roadmaps, key metrics, and execution plans
Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and zero-loss principles to improve processes and reduce costs
Identify scalable growth opportunities and areas of transportation loss
Lead implementation of lean methodologies and develop, implement, and control process improvements
Monitor improvements and deliver measurable results aligned with organizational goals

Requirements

What you’ll need

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Arts, Finance or related field and 2 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field
Option 2: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Option 3: 4 years' experience in data analysis, data science, statistics, or related field
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
Strong exploratory data analysis skills
Ability to make analytical, data-driven recommendations and solutions
Project management experience with end-to-end project ownership
Intellectual curiosity focused on process and business improvement
Compelling, persuasive oral and written communication skills
Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
Extreme ownership
Comfort with shifting priorities in a fast-moving environment
Transportation or supply chain experience is a plus
Six Sigma Certification is a plus
