Key responsibilities & impact

Lead a team of exterior service technicians
Partner with the team to ensure exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction
Manage commercial landscaping and exterior building/grounds maintenance
Maintain exterior spaces to foster a safe and clean environment for customers
Facilitate on-the-job training on processes, equipment usage, and asset safety practices
Perform landscaping tasks including grass cutting, weed management, planting, pruning, and pest/disease management
Perform commercial exterior maintenance including irrigation, pressure washing, and exterior building/grounds maintenance
Manage work orders and maintain records using phones, tablets, and laptops
Troubleshoot and prioritize work
Uphold company policies, procedures, ethics, integrity, and safety standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum 2 years’ experience in commercial landscaping/exterior building maintenance and leading teams
Proven leadership skills and ability to facilitate on-the-job training
Proficiency using phones, tablets, and laptops for work order management and record-keeping
Ability to perform landscaping tasks with or without specialized equipment
Knowledge of planting, pruning techniques, and pest/disease management through chemical applications
Experience with irrigation, pressure washing, and exterior building/grounds maintenance
Strong customer service orientation and ability to troubleshoot and prioritize work
High school diploma or equivalent required
Valid state-issued driver’s license
Driver’s license held for at least 3 years with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record report
Ability to successfully complete a DOT physical and secure medical certification during pre-hire contingency
Ability to maintain a minimum 90-day Medical Examiner’s Certification card
No DUI, DWI, OUI, or alcohol/drug-related reckless driving convictions within the last 3 years
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years if driving a commercial motor vehicle
No serious traffic violations in the last 3 years if operating a commercial motor vehicle
No preventable accidents in the last 3 years if operating a commercial motor vehicle
Ability to read and speak English
