About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Author and evolve Walmart's BAS Design and Installation Guidelines to align with current enterprise requirements.
Standardize controller points, module names, and protocols (BACnet, Modbus) across all facility types.
Manage Engineering Changes: Issue Design (DIs) and Construction Initiatives (CIs) to resolve field gaps.
Shift hardware devices to software to enable scalable remote diagnostics and telemetry.
Resolve active construction RFIs and provide escalation support for critical field failures.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field and 4 years' experience in business, operations, analytics, or related area OR 6 years' experience in business, operations, analytics, or related area.
2 years’ supervisory experience.
3 years’ project management experience.
Deep knowledge of controller programming, points configuration, and multi-protocol architecture (BACnet, Modbus).
Hands-on technical experience with commercial refrigeration, HVAC, and lighting controls across multi-vendor environments.
Proven history of authoring enterprise engineering standards, construction specifications, and design guidelines.
Practical knowledge of securing operational technology and enforcing building controls compliance.
