About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and manage complex, large-scale technical programs with multiple interdependent projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and delivery timelines.
- Define program scopes, stage gates, critical paths, and key deliverables while securing commitments from cross-functional teams.
- Translate product requirements into technical milestones, collaborating with engineering teams to ensure scalable, high-availability solutions.
- Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve issues to maintain program momentum.
- Establish and improve standardized workflows, driving automation and operational excellence across initiatives.
- Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies clearly to stakeholders, fostering alignment and informed decision-making.
- Mentor team members on best practices in program and technical management.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related area and 6 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
- Option 2: 8 years’ experience in engineering, engineering program management, technical program management, product management, or related area.
- Extensive experience in program and project management, including risk and stakeholder management across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
- Proven ability to define goals, stage gates, and critical delivery paths for large-scale technical programs with multiple dependencies.
- Strong technical expertise in system design, cloud infrastructure, APIs, and software lifecycle management.
- Skilled in translating product requirements into scalable technical designs and ensuring operational excellence frameworks.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making and risk mitigation capabilities.
- Ability to mentor teams and implement process improvements to accelerate delivery and quality outcomes.
