Requirements

What you’ll need

  • Prior work experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Prior work experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
  • Prior work experience in role requiring knowledge of local electrical codes and standards.
  • Proven experience installing, configuring, and maintaining low voltage systems including security, fire alarms, CCTV, and audio/video equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to promptly identify and resolve system issues.
  • Ability to run, terminate, and label cables following industry standards and project requirements.
  • Knowledge of compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to low voltage installations.
  • Experience collaborating with teams and managing projects to ensure timely, quality outcomes.
