About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Responsible for owning national accounts with suppliers that ship freight with Walmart Fleet by managing data analytics, metrics, and transportation levels of service.
  • Building partnerships with Walmart vendor accounts.
  • Manage issues between transportation and suppliers to deliver strong LOS.
  • Implement process improvement strategies across Replenishment, vendor and Walmart Fleet.
  • Researching and analyzing root cause exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, and inventory issues.
  • Support field-level direction providing guidance for operations.
  • Communicate operational expectations to suppliers and transport partners.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
  • Proven expertise in supply chain management and analysis with a focus on process improvement and root cause analysis.
  • Experience influencing cross-functional teams to implement sustainable supply chain solutions and enhance network efficiencies.
  • Strong skills in supplier performance and transportation management, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights to support cost reduction and service level improvements.
  • Demonstrated capability to build partnerships with stakeholders and communicate operational expectations effectively.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, adaptability, and upholding high standards of integrity and ethics.
