About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for owning national accounts with suppliers that ship freight with Walmart Fleet by managing data analytics, metrics, and transportation levels of service.
Building partnerships with Walmart vendor accounts.
Manage issues between transportation and suppliers to deliver strong LOS.
Implement process improvement strategies across Replenishment, vendor and Walmart Fleet.
Researching and analyzing root cause exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, and inventory issues.
Support field-level direction providing guidance for operations.
Communicate operational expectations to suppliers and transport partners.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field OR 2 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
Proven expertise in supply chain management and analysis with a focus on process improvement and root cause analysis.
Experience influencing cross-functional teams to implement sustainable supply chain solutions and enhance network efficiencies.
Strong skills in supplier performance and transportation management, ensuring compliance and operational excellence.
Ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights to support cost reduction and service level improvements.
Demonstrated capability to build partnerships with stakeholders and communicate operational expectations effectively.
Commitment to continuous improvement, adaptability, and upholding high standards of integrity and ethics.
