About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Step into a pivotal role where data becomes action.
- Lead the insights and decision frameworks that shape sourcing strategy across categories and markets.
- Design and implement business intelligence solutions to identify cost-savings opportunities and ensure adoption.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Sourcing, Procurement, Finance, and Merchandising to align data needs, performance metrics, and insights.
- Structure ambiguous problems with prescriptive analytics, root-cause analysis and establish clear, governable business logic.
- Build and present executive-ready visual stories to drive value-driven actions.
- Mentor and upskill the team to build analytical bench strength.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or related field and 2 years’ experience conducting mathematical or statistical research, analysis and modeling intelligence, corporate security, or related area OR 4 years’ experience conducting mathematical or statistical research, analysis and modeling intelligence, corporate security, or related area.
- Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills; experience translating data into actionable intelligence.
- Data and tech savvy, with AI/ML knowledge in business context and experience pulling, manipulating, and interpreting large datasets; fluency in outcomes-based analysis.
- Ability to lead through influence with clear, compelling communication.
- Proven experience developing practical predictive models in business domain.
- Background in engineering, statistics, computational science, or related quantitative field.
- Experience in management consulting, sourcing & procurement, supply chain, or business strategy.
