About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop highly scalable services to process millions of requests per day
- Solve complex software engineering problems by leveraging state-of-the-art technology
- Take the lead on problems related to scale & monetization
- Provide support to the business by responding to user questions, concerns, and issues
- Research and identify needed solutions; determining implementation designs; providing guidance on new systems
- Manage small to large-sized complex projects by reviewing project requirements and translating requirements into technical solutions
- Write and develop code; conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders
- Troubleshoot business and production issues by performing root cause analysis
- Drive the development of an action plan; performing actions as designated in the plan; interpreting results to determine further action
- Build relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders to implement business solutions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- At least 4+ years of Android experience with MVVM-C architecture and languages including Kotlin, Java, graphQL
- Hands-on working with Android SDK framework and ecosystem
- Strong fundamental knowledge of OOP, Reactive programming, and design patterns
- Solid understanding of Android UI, design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Good knowledge of algorithms with problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent unit testing and functional (UI) testing skills
- Experience with Kafka or other high volume-low latency messaging infrastructure
- Experience with Azure Cloud Stack or other cloud stacks
- Extensive knowledge of open-source libraries, design patterns, and micro-service architecture
- Familiarity with CI/CD and unit testing.
- Authorized to work for any employer in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
