About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead platform engineering efforts to deliver scalable, cloud-native infrastructure and reusable tooling aligned with strategic roadmaps.
- Drive full software development lifecycle management, including design, testing, deployment, and maintenance of distributed systems.
- Architect and integrate AI/ML-enhanced applications supporting high availability and real-time data processing.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship, promoting engineering excellence and standardization across teams.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements and measurable outcomes.
- Ensure technical ownership by delivering quality solutions and resolving issues proactively.
- Foster continuous improvement through innovation, knowledge sharing, and adoption of best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
- Option 2: 7 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
- Extensive experience in platform engineering leadership, delivering scalable and reliable cloud-native architectures.
- Proven expertise in software development lifecycle management, including coding, testing, CI/CD deployment, and incident response.
- Strong proficiency in AI/ML integration and building intelligent software systems using languages such as Python, Java, and C++.
- Ability to apply model-driven design and leverage advanced development tools to enhance quality and velocity.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and mentorship skills, fostering engineering excellence and innovation.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on system interoperability and maintainability.
- Effective collaboration and communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and adapting to evolving technologies and business needs.
