About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute category strategies aligned with long-term business objectives, analyzing market trends and customer behavior.
- Manage profit and loss responsibilities, making pricing, promotion, and inventory decisions to meet financial targets.
- Lead supplier negotiations, establishing terms, performance metrics, and communication protocols.
- Oversee channel strategy and collaborate with supply chain partners to optimize product availability and delivery.
- Guide team performance through coaching, development, and task prioritization.
- Utilize data analysis and visualization tools to inform decisions and drive category growth.
- Support execution of merchandising features, item setup, and modular assortment strategies.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or related field and 3 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area.
- Microsoft Office.
- Negotiating with third-party suppliers.
- Supervisory experience.
