About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Drive execution of multiple procurement plans by identifying needs, removing obstacles, and adjusting performance to meet business goals.
- Lead and develop procurement associates through mentoring, training, and performance management to build a high-performing team.
- Develop and implement category strategies, identifying savings opportunities and optimizing supplier selection based on data and market trends.
- Manage supplier relationships, conduct business reviews, and mitigate risks to ensure contract compliance and cost efficiencies.
- Utilize financial acumen to analyze total cost of ownership and support informed sourcing decisions.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to solve complex problems and influence strategic procurement initiatives.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, economics, technology, or related field and 5 years' experience in procurement strategy, contract management, analytics, or related field.
- Option 2: 6 years’ experience in procurement strategy, contract management, analytics, or related field and 2 years’ experience leading cross-functional teams/projects.
- Extensive experience in category strategy, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management within complex procurement environments.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to conduct advanced cost analyses, build business cases, and develop total cost of ownership models.
- Proven negotiation skills to lead high-risk sourcing decisions and mitigate supplier-related risks effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, driving performance, and fostering continuous development and coaching.
- Expertise in problem-solving complex supply chain challenges using data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders.
