About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and support SAP applications, enhancements, integrations, and cloud-enabled solutions
Develop and maintain ABAP programs, reports, enhancements, BAPIs, BAdIs, user exits, CDS Views, AMDPs, RAP applications, and OData services
Build scalable solutions using ABAP OO, S/4HANA Virtual Data Models (VDM), CDS annotations, and SAP Fiori integration
Design and support system integrations using IDocs, RFCs, APIs, SAP PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP BTP
Implement and optimize SAP forms (Adobe Forms, SmartForms, SAPScript) and reporting solutions (ALV)
Analyze and improve application performance using ABAP tuning and SQL optimization techniques
Support S/4HANA migration and simplification initiatives, including ECC-to-S/4 conversion activities
Collaborate with Basis and infrastructure teams to support SAP landscapes hosted on OpenStack, including HA/DR, system copies, and environment management
Participate in DevOps practices using gCTS, abapGit, Jenkins/GitHub Actions, ATC, and automated testing
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and ensure adherence to SAP development standards

Requirements

What you’ll need

7+ years of SAP ABAP development experience
3+ years of S/4HANA development experience
2+ years working with CDS Views, OData, RAP, and integrations
2+ years of ABAP OO development
Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5 and OpenStack/cloud infrastructure
Experience with SAP PI/PO, SAP Integration Suite, or similar middleware technologies.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area or 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
