About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, deploy, and monitor embedding-based classification models that align external product signals to the Walmart merchandising hierarchy.
Develop GMV distribution normalization and projection models that reconcile heterogeneous internal and external GMV signals.
Build causal impact models that quantify market-share movement from merchandising actions.
Engineer for production from day one on Databricks (on GCP).
Establish the MLOps foundations the ROM platform will live on.
Own the end-to-end ML lifecycle for every model you put in production.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 5 years' experience in software engineering or related field.
7 years’ experience in software engineering or related field.
Master's degree in Computer Science and 3 years' experience in software engineering or related field.
4 years' experience in data engineering, database engineering, business intelligence, or business analytics.
1 year’s supervisory experience.
