Senior Manager, Assortment Activation

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead end-to-end planning, governance, and oversight of modular and relay initiatives to ensure alignment with enterprise objectives.
- Manage portfolio capacity and resources, sequencing work to meet business rhythms and store readiness.
- Establish and enforce execution standards and best practices, conducting post-implementation reviews to scale improvements.
- Serve as a strategic liaison across Insights, Space, and Merchant teams to align decisions with execution realities.
- Mentor managers and associates, fostering continuous learning and leadership development.
- Drive process optimization, risk mitigation, and data-informed decision-making to support operational excellence.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Option 1: Bachelor’s degree in business, merchandising, operations, or related area and 5 years’ experience in retail operations, merchandising, or modular execution, including 2 years’ experience leading teams or cross-functional programs.
- Option 2: 7 years’ progressive experience in retail operations, merchandising, or modular execution, with demonstrated leadership of large-scale relay/mod initiatives.
- Extensive experience in strategic planning, execution leadership, and governance of complex initiatives.
- Proven ability to manage portfolios and resources effectively, balancing capacity with business priorities.
- Expertise in process optimization, risk management, and data analysis to drive operational excellence.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, enabling alignment between insights, merchant, and leadership teams.
- Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and developing high-potential talent to build future leaders.
- Ability to design and monitor KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement and quality standards.
- Commitment to ethical conduct, integrity, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
