About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for a wide range of analytics features, initiatives, and enhancements in Merchandising data domain
Build pipelines and data lakes to prepare big data for analysis
Develop knowledge of current analytics trends
Write code to develop required solution and application features
Create data pipelines and transform data
Implement data governance practices in partnership with business stakeholders
Contribute to conceptual, physical, and logical data models
Provide recommendations to business stakeholders to solve complex business issues
Ensure business needs are being met by evaluating ongoing effectiveness of current plans

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years in data engineering, platform engineering, or enterprise integration roles
Well versed with Big Data Technologies, Spark, Cloud, Streaming, Kafka core, Kafka connect
Proficiency in backend technologies and application development frameworks like Spring boot, React, Node.js
Proven track record coding with at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Scala, Python)
Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure)
Skilled in data modeling & data migration protocols
Experience with GCP (or any other similar cloud offerings), Data warehousing, BI preferred
Experience with integration tools like Automic, Airflow
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder influence skills
Understanding of Retail Business, Merchandising eCommerce domain is added advantage
