About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design and deliver multi-modal learning programs, including Instructor-Led Training (ILT), Virtual ILT ( vILT ), eLearning, video, simulations, microlearning, and blended learning for internal and external audiences.
  • Develop modular curricula (e.g., 101/201/301) that build from foundational product knowledge to more advanced platform capabilities and campaign strategies.
  • Apply instructional design, UX, and storytelling principles to create engaging, learner-centric content.
  • Facilitate live and virtual training sessions, certification programs, and enablement workshops.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate product features and updates into effective learning experiences.
  • Support the development and delivery of certification programs, including content creation, assessment design, and updates.
  • Maintain certification materials to ensure alignment with current product features and best practices.
  • Assist in managing certification logistics , learner tracking, and reporting within the LMS.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Partner Management teams to align training with product launches and business priorities.
  • Track and analyze learning performance metrics such as completion rates, learner feedback, and knowledge retention.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of Walmart Connect Academy as a scalable learning platform.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business , Communications, Education, or related field and 2 years’ experience in adult learning, training content development, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in adult learning, training content development, or related area.
  • 5 + years of experience in Learning & Development, Product Enablement, or Customer/Partner Education.
  • Experience designing and delivering multi-modal learning programs (ILT, vILT , eLearning, microlearning, video).
  • Familiarity with instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
  • Experience working with LMS platforms and learning analytics.
  • Basic understanding of digital advertising, ad tech, or SaaS products.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Articulate Storyline/Rise, Camtasia, Vyond, or similar.
  • Ability to translate complex product information into clear, actionable learning content.
