Key responsibilities & impact

Drives financial planning, forecasting, and performance optimization across the transportation network.
Leads analysis of key cost drivers such as freight, fuel, routing, and carrier performance to support data-driven decisions.
Communicates financial performance to senior leadership, leads cost and efficiency initiatives, and ensures strong financial controls.
Develops a high-performing team and promotes a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Partners with Logistics, Fleet, and Supply Chain to manage transportation spend and optimize network performance.

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 4 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area OR 6 years’ experience in accounting, finance, or related area.
1 year’s experience leading and completing cross-functional projects.
1 year’s supervisory experience.
Deep experience in financial planning and analysis within transportation, logistics, supply chain, or a similarly complex operational environment.
Proven ability to build financial models that evaluate routing, capacity, and cost-to-serve trade-offs.
Experience partnering with operations teams to influence decisions and drive cost efficiencies while maintaining service levels.
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex transportation and financial data into clear business insights.
Demonstrated leadership in developing and managing high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in data analytics tools (SQL, Excel, Tableau/Power BI) and large-scale data environments.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead large initiatives, and drive results in a dynamic, high-volume logistics network.
