Key responsibilities & impact
  • Leads the design phase of large software engineering projects by collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Interpreting strategy into sustainable architecture and solutions
  • Identifying short- and long-term solutions and timelines
  • Driving prototype development
  • Leads project teams for engineering projects by providing direction regarding architecture and design
  • Providing guidance regarding project issues or roadblocks
  • Implementing new architectural patterns
  • Performing design and code reviews of changes
  • Direct root cause analysis of business and production issues by reviewing and analyzing information

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree or master’s degree in Computer Science (or related field)
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Experience in AdTech and/or Search
  • Experience working with Data Science teams to implement ML models in real-time serving
  • 6+ years of experience in building and managing large scale distributed, scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems
  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java or another object-oriented language, Spring, No SQL
  • Experience in Apache Hadoop, Map-reduce, Apache Spark, and in messaging Systems as Kafka
  • Strong communication skills
  • Exceptional analytical-reasoning and problem-solving skills
