About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Take ownership of 3–5 active construction projects and drive them from current state through completion.
- Lead day-to-day execution across budget, schedule, quality, compliance, and scope.
- Review estimates, bids, change orders, invoices, and project financials to maintain strong cost control.
- Partner with contractors, municipalities, consultants, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and keep projects on track.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks early, and make decisions that protect delivery timelines and operational goals.
- Align construction activity with business needs while minimizing disruption and ensuring consistent project standards.
- Use construction documents, drawings, and project systems to support planning, communication, and execution.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
- 3 years’ experience in construction management, construction administration, engineering, architecture, or a related area OR 5 years’ experience in the same fields.
- Experience leading construction projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong construction background, with commercial construction preferred; industrial or remodel experience also considered.
- Broad project exposure from a general contractor, owner’s representative, or similar construction leadership role.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining control of budget, schedule, and execution.
- Experience reviewing construction documents, budgets, estimates, and bids.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and internal construction tools and documentation platforms, including Juice.
- Professional certification (OSHA10, OSHA30, PE, PMP, CCM, LEED AP, or equivalent) is preferred.
