Key responsibilities & impact

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define high-level designs and translate requirements into technical solutions
Develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-quality code following coding standards and best practices
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues through root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Lead small engineering groups by providing guidance, documentation, and timelines to ensure project success
Participate in continuous integration and delivery processes, automating tasks to improve efficiency
Monitor application performance and implement telemetry features to support maintenance and enhancements

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area
Proven expertise in object-oriented programming and software design principles
Strong technical acumen with experience in platform design, API development, and component services
Demonstrated ability to deliver scoped features through iterative and incremental development
Proficiency in debugging, testing, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices
Extensive experience and proficiency with Java or RxJava, Spring Boot, Kafka, and Cassandra (or similar platforms)
Experience working on high throughput, scalable microservices
