Key responsibilities & impact

Lead end‑to‑end delivery of assigned remodel projects, from early planning and permitting through construction execution.
Manage scope, schedule, and budget while ensuring alignment with business, operational, and program goals.
Serve as the primary point of contact for cross‑functional partners including Real Estate, Construction, Operations, and external design consultants.
Direct and coordinate architects, engineers, and consultants to support timely design development, permitting, and approvals.
Proactively identify risks related to permitting, schedule, cost, and constructability, and develop mitigation strategies.
Drive clear, consistent communication across stakeholders, escalating issues as needed and recommending solutions.
Ensure compliance with Walmart standards, processes, and applicable codes and regulations.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and 3 years’ experience in architecture, construction management, engineering, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in architecture, construction management, engineering, or related area.
Experience leading complex commercial, retail, or large‑scale remodel projects from planning through execution.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk across multiple projects.
Ability to lead and coordinate cross‑functional teams and external consultants in a fast‑paced environment.
Working knowledge of design development, permitting processes, construction documentation, and regulatory requirements.
Proven ability to identify challenges early, think critically, and drive practical, solutions‑oriented outcomes.
High level of ownership, accountability, and professionalism.
