Key responsibilities & impact

Provide legal advice and counsel to business partners, ensuring informed decision-making aligned with company objectives.
Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, supporting risk management and regulatory adherence.
Collaborate with internal teams and outside counsel to develop strategies for resolving legal matters and conducting investigations.
Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, contracts, and policies to support business transactions and initiatives.
Oversee corporate governance processes, maintaining knowledge of applicable laws and standards.
Lead and mentor associates, fostering professional development and performance excellence.
Support continuous improvement by evaluating legal and operational effectiveness and recommending enhancements.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Law degree from an accredited law school and 4 years’ experience in law.
License to practice law in at least one state.
Experience leading cross-functional teams.
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity laws and ability to provide clear, actionable legal counsel to support business objectives.
Proven expertise in corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management within complex business environments.
Skilled in conducting investigations, legal research, and managing incident response with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, ensuring alignment with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated commitment to ethical standards, integrity, and fostering a culture of compliance and accountability.
