About the role
- Manage a real estate portfolio by evaluating properties for development or disposition and coordinating with internal partners and customers.
- Lead negotiations for property use, lease enforcement, and contractor agreements, ensuring cost control and risk mitigation.
- Oversee market analysis, site selection, and return on investment assessments to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies to minimize financial and reputational risks.
- Drive execution of business plans by identifying needs, removing obstacles, and measuring performance.
- Provide leadership, mentoring, and development opportunities to associates while promoting company policies and ethical standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field and 3 years’ experience in architecture, construction management, engineering, or related area OR 5 years’ experience in architecture, construction management, engineering, or related area.
- Extensive experience in real estate portfolio management, including site selection, market analysis, and deal negotiations.
- Proven ability to manage construction costs through contract review, change order evaluation, and contractor negotiations.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring, developing teams, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Expertise in developing and executing strategic plans to minimize financial and reputational risks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with government agencies and internal partners.
- Demonstrated ability to drive business results while maintaining high ethical standards and compliance.
