Key responsibilities & impact

Lead and implement strategies to reduce energy and utility expenses, create opportunities to strengthen the grid, invest in our assets, and create customer solutions through utility partnerships and programs.
Engage in regulatory, legislative, and other external processes required to deliver solutions.
Attract, develop, and retain top talent through effective workforce planning.
Build partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business goals.
Ensure compliance with company standards of integrity and ethics.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field and 5 years’ experience in utility operations or related area OR 7 years’ experience in utility operations or related area.
1 year’s supervisory experience.
Certified Energy Manager, experience in building systems design, controls, or operations.
Experience negotiating contracts or terms of service agreements.
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business, Finance, or related field.
Project Management Certification, Project management experience Masters, Masters: Business, Masters: Finance Project Management - Project Management Professional - Certification, Utility - Certified Energy Manager - Certification.
