About the role
- Lead the planning and execution of multiple construction projects, ensuring adherence to budgets, schedules, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, managing contractor performance, and maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Fosters effective communication with stakeholders and oversees risk management.
- Oversee construction budgets by reviewing preconstruction estimates, tracking reports, and approving payments, change orders, and invoices.
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations by establishing performance standards and managing contractor adherence.
- Manage multiple construction projects, coordinating schedules, and resolving conflicts.
- Monitor site progress and quality to meet design specifications and resolve outstanding issues.
- Lead and develop teams through training, mentoring, and performance management.
- Drive continuous improvement by evaluating plans, removing obstacles, and supporting learning initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field and 3 years’ experience in construction management, construction administration, engineering, architecture, or a related area OR 5 years’ experience in construction management, construction administration, engineering, architecture, or a related area.
- Extensive experience in construction and project management, including budget oversight and contract administration.
- Proven ability to manage multiple construction projects, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and quality standards.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing teams to achieve performance goals.
- Expertise in risk management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution within complex project environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to coordinate cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in financial management, scheduling, and quality control to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Commitment to continuous learning and applying innovative solutions to improve project outcomes.
