About the role

  • Learn the automation landscape, process flow, and vendor footprint across entire grocery supply chain.
  • Build working relationships with site teams, operators, and external vendors.
  • Develop an understanding of current systems, building constraints, and in-flight initiatives.
  • Begin owning projects and key workstreams with increasing independence.
  • Help shape annual operating plans and support implementation of projects.
  • Identify improvement opportunities across the network.
  • Fully own your portion of the business, including planning, communication, execution, and project follow-through.
  • Manage multiple projects with varying timelines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of relevant experience in engineering, automation, systems, supply chain, or project-based operational environments.
  • Experience leading projects and driving execution from planning through implementation.
  • Strong vendor management skills and ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to stay organized, follow through, and keep projects moving in ambiguous environments.
  • Excellent execution skills with a self-directed, ownership mindset.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering, math, computer science, chemical engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience working in engineering-led environments where precision, follow-up, and problem solving are critical.
