About the role

  • Analyze and translate business and technical requirements into scalable software solutions.
  • Develop, configure, and maintain code components adhering to coding standards and security policies.
  • Collaborate in iterative development cycles, ensuring high availability and maintainability of applications.
  • Design and implement APIs and platform features with a focus on product strategy and delivery.
  • Build automation scripts to support continuous integration and deployment processes.
  • Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and defect analysis to ensure software quality.
  • Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues to optimize system reliability.
  • Document code and maintain traceability between requirements, design, and testing artifacts.

Requirements

  • Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 2 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Option 2: 4 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
  • Proven expertise in Python with asynch, including development for both client and server domains.
  • Experience with XML schemas, as this is used to develop our client user interface.
  • LLM experience, including prompt development and use of coding agents is a plus.
  • Experience with API design, platform development, and component services to deliver scalable, maintainable solutions.
  • Ability to analyze and translate business and technical requirements into functional software components.
  • Skilled in debugging, telemetry implementation, and defect management to ensure high-quality software performance.
  • Familiarity with coding standards, security policies, and emerging development tools and frameworks.
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
