About the role
- Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Designers, and Copywriters to produce and deliver on-brand, creative video solutions that address business objectives outlined in project briefs.
- Develop and produce high-quality videos for Walmart Connect B2B and internal Walmart Connect leadership events.
- Storyboard, design, animate, and edit video content that resonates with brand and audience strategy, ensuring brand consistency for both Walmart and partner brands.
- Design and execute motion graphics for a variety of formats, including internal communications, marketing demos, eLearning pieces, digital campaigns, and presentations.
- Deliver polished, high-quality assets optimized for various devices, platforms, and audience experiences.
- Proactively leverage AI video tools (e.g., Gemini, Runway, Pika, Adobe Firefly, Kling, Adobe Express, Adobe Substance) to enhance workflow efficiency and incorporate innovative techniques into content creation.
- Stay informed of trends in motion design and AI to effectively bring new creative ideas to life while keeping projects on the cutting edge of the industry.
- Align motion graphics with business and advertising KPIs, ensuring elevated creativity and measurable impact.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with internal teams and advertisers.
- Effectively organize, name, and maintain project files in compliance with optimal workflow practices to enable collaboration and efficiency.
Requirements
- 5-7 years of professional experience as a motion designer or working in creative video development, preferably within the omni-channel, multi-brand retail, or advertising industry.
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BFA) in design, animation, film, or a related field is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Hands-on experience in video editing, special effects, 3D design, animation, and compositing.
- Strong expertise in motion design, animation principles, and storytelling.
- Familiarity with AI video tools such as Runway, Kling, Pika, Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express, and Adobe Substance is highly desirable.
- Ability to deliver high-quality work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- An eye for detail and a passion for exceptional design and storytelling.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interface with cross-functional teams.
- Organized, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple projects at once without sacrificing quality.
