About the role
- Develop litigation and pre-litigation strategies for disputes involving Walmart Marketplace.
- Manage intellectual property litigation and pre-litigation, including patent, copyright and trademark matters.
- Handle California Proposition 65 and other transparency-related litigation and pre-litigation matters.
- Retain and manage qualified outside counsel and ensuring alignment on strategy and positioning.
- Provide actionable, clear, and timely advice to internal business, technology, and compliance partners.
Requirements
- At least three years of litigation experience, including experience handling complex commercial, intellectual property, Prop 65, Marketplace, or technology-related disputes.
- Law degree from an accredited law school and 4 years’ experience in law.
- License to practice law in at least one state.
- Subject matter experience with intellectual property litigation, Prop 65 or Marketplace.
- Experience managing threatened litigation and pre-litigation disputes, including demand letters and early resolution strategies.
